Andrew has a law degree and joined the company in January 1982. He is a qualified Fellow of the Association of Average Adjusters and also an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII). In his adjusting career he has specialised in handling hull & machinery and general average claims for clients in the Middle East, the Gulf regions, Russia, Ukraine and the other countries of the Former Soviet Union. From September 2000 to May 2008, Andrew worked for Charles Taylor as Manager of the Standard P&I and War Risk Associations. He attained the position of Syndicate Claims Director with responsibility for handling the P&I claims for members principally in the UK, Norway, Denmark, Switzerland, Germany, Argentina and Chile. Andrew is an experienced lecturer and trainer, having given talks and presentations to clients and at seminars in the UK and overseas.
